6 Neat Desk Organisation Ideas

Looking through Pinterest is a great way to get inspiration for pretty much anything. Here are six ideas we found about keeping a desk tidy and organised:

• Add a trolley or cubes beside your desk - a desk is never big enough, but even if you get a huge one, it will quickly be covered with crap. Get yourself a side table, trolley or storage cubes to put your printer, paper, pens and pot plant on to clear some space.
• Create drawer dividers - you can either use cardstock and fold into box shapes, or cut down small boxes. Add them to your drawers and it will be much easier to see what it inside at a glance.
• Mugs make great pen holders - if your pens keep disappearing, sticking them into your mug with super glue on the bottom will certainly keep them safe. It will also keep them from being used too, but hey - win some, loose some. Or you could simply store them in a mug.
• Use shelves - a desk can only hold so much, so adding shelves above your desk gives you some extra space. A hanging plant would look super cool on a shelf too, just saying.

• Framed organisation - we like this idea - a repurposed frame with fabric pockets to add pens and notes inside.

• Hot glued jars - you could make jam to go inside them, or you could hot glue jars together to create a handy organiser for your pens, pencils, felts and paper clips.
